VNCiac is the self-hosted platform that runs the VNClagoon product suite (mail, chat, video, directory, tasks, projects) and the SRC Advisory tenant. It is a seven-node MicroK8s Kubernetes cluster spread across two Hetzner datacenters — HEL1 Helsinki and FSN1 Falkenstein — managed end-to-end by GitOps via ArgoCD and Gitea. The stack spans the edge (Traefik, MetalLB, cert-manager), identity (Keycloak, OpenLDAP, SAML), mail (Stalwart), collaboration (vncdirectory-plus, portal, MCB), video (Jitsi), AI (Ollama on a GPU worker, paperclip), data (CloudNativePG, Valkey, NATS, Rook/Ceph) and operations (Prometheus/Grafana, Vaultwarden, Velero backups). It is built to survive a full datacenter outage — dqlite control-plane quorum and datacenter-redundant Ceph — and every byte of data stays EU-resident.
